Cinderella tells a story of self-discovery by embracing the nature of both literal and figurative transformation. The world Ella lives in feels both whimsical and fragmented, like the mismatched pages of a pop-up book. The costumes will use a mashup of the textures, silhouettes, and patterns from the Victorian and Art Deco Eras to create a modernized vocabulary for the storybook-esque aspects of Ella’s world
