Head Over Heels is a fast-paced juke box musical using the music and lyrics from “The Gogos” that takes the story of “Sir Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia” by Elizabethan author, Sir Philip Sydney to create a glam rock mashup of worlds and identities. The show follows the story of a kingdom that is based upon strict rules falling in disrepair after they receive a message from a magical oracle that their kingdom is in danger. This forces both the king and his subjects to depart into the woods to look for a new home. Through silly cartoonish escapades containing cross-dressing, mistaken identities, and lesbian vacation islands the kingdom of Arcadia comes out of the forest forever changed with no other choice but to start a new chapter.
